Gabi Brock-Dale
Practice Manager
Gabi was appointed Practice Manager in the Autumn of 2023 and prior to that, she worked as the practice’s medical secretary and Dr Hickman’s PA for 8 years. As the business has developed and clinical capacity has expanded, Gabi has prided herself on maintaining top quality, responsive patient care.
Gabi and her team place great importance on supporting each patient through their medical journey and never underestimate the reassurance of a friendly voice over the phone.
Outside of work hours she has a lovely, young daughter who keeps her on her toes. Otherwise she has twin loves of writing fiction and cooking.

Lauren Parsons-Smith
Medical Secretary
Lauren is medical secretary for Dr Hickman’s practice. She has worked within the healthcare sector for over 5 years with this being her first secretarial role. She has a passion for patient care and, when not working, enjoys spending time with family and her pet Shar-Pei, Winston.

Gill Tyrrell
Echo Physiologist
Gill trained as a Cardiac Technician at St George’s Hospital in London and Westminster College, and qualified in 1972. She gained full accreditation with the British Society of Echocardiography in 1993.
Her interests are in complex imaging of the heart in adults, including transthoracic echocardiography, physiologist led bubble contrast echocardiography, assisting cardiologists in transoesophageal echocardiography and stress echocardiography. Her specialist interest in paediatric echocardiography, has led to development of services with paediatricians locally, and paediatric cardiologists at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
Gill has previously been an examiner for the British Society of Echocardiography accreditation examinations she and continues supports the teaching of echocardiography to doctors.

Siva Ratnatheepan
Chief of Echocardiography
Siva completed his first degree at the University of Surrey, Guildford, and went on to earn an MSc in Echocardiography with flying colours from Imperial College London.
He is a Lead and Highly Specialist Echocardiography Physiologist at the Royal Surrey Foundation Trust in Guildford, as well as a Registered Clinical Scientist. He is an accredited member of the British and European Echocardiography Societies and has been awarded fellowships from both the British and American Societies of Echocardiography. Siva has over 20 years of experience in advanced echocardiography.

Nicola Montalbano
Chief of Pacing
After studying at Leeds university obtaining a BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) Nicola spent 5 years working at The London Heart Hospital (UCLH) occupying a role leading the interventional Cardiology service whilst also becoming a highly specialist Cardiac Physiologist in the field of Cardiac implantable devices and Electrophysiology, gaining IBHRE & Heart Rhythm UK accreditation in these areas.
Nicola then moved to The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in 2012 to become Head of Cardiac Physiology, managing Cardiology diagnostics for the trust. Whilst simultaneously joining Dr Hickman’s team, supporting patients with implanted cardiac devices.
