At Guildford Cardiology our range of one stop services are designed to reduce the stress and delay usually encountered when seeking medical assistance. We offer one stop packages that include a consultant consultation, vital testing, scans where appropriate and an immediate follow-up to discuss results and plan treatment.
We offer fixed package prices for our self-funding patients to help avoid unexpected costs.
One-stop chest pain assessment
Chest pain can be caused by serious underlying medical problems and often needs rapid evaluation. We partner with the Virtual Cath Lab to offer state-of-the-art coronary artery imaging as part of this comprehensive assessment.
Assessment package includes:
- Triage consultation
- ECG
- Blood work including full blood count, U&E, lipids, troponin and D-dimer checks
- Echocardiogram
- CT Coronary Angiogram*
- Same-day follow up consultation to discuss results and plan management
*Only when clinically indicated
Breathlessness assessment
Unexplained breathlessness can be caused by a number of important medical problems often involving either the heart or the lungs. A series of baseline tests can assist in either identifying, or ruling out, important conditions and prompt diagnosis allows for the initiation of effective treatment.
Assessment package includes:
- Triage consultation
- ECG
- Blood work including full blood count, U&E, D-dimer and BNP checks
- Echocardiogram
- Peak Flow Test
- CT Chest Scan*
- Follow up consultation to discuss results and plan management

Palpitations/arrhythmia assessment
Our palpitations assessment will both pick up any cardiac rhythm disturbances that occur over a 7-day period and assess the structural integrity of the heart to understand whether any serious problems underlie these symptoms.
Assessment package includes:
- Triage consultation
- ECG
- Blood work including full blood count, U&E, Thyroid and Magnesium checks
- Echocardiogram
- 7-day continuous wearable monitoring
- Follow up consultation to discuss results and plan management
